Florida Swim & Dive Locations 33 on 2025-26 SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida males’s and girls’s swimming and diving packages positioned 33 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Southeastern Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday by League Commissioner Greg Sankey.

The 2026 SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll is predicated on grades from the 2025 Spring, Summer and Fall phrases.

Academic Honor Roll Notes:

• Florida’s girls’s and males’s swimming & diving packages positioned 18 and 15, respectively on the listing.
• Three girls turned in 4.0 grade level averages – senior Casey Greenberg, senior Camille DeBoer and redshirt sophomore Michaela Mattes.
• Josh Liendo, winner of the 2026 NCAA 50 and 100 freestyle plus the 100 butterfly titles, shared the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Swimmer of the Year award.
• Fifteen from Florida’s swimming & diving groups earned 2026 All-America honors. Men: Eric Brown, Scotty Buff, Devin Dilger, Conor Gesing, Jesus Gonzalez, Josh Liendo, Gio Linscheer and Alexander Painter. Women: Anita Bottazzo, Julie Brousseau, Catie Choate, Lainy Kruger, Michaela Mattes, Camyla Monroy and JoJo Ramey.
• Two Gator swimmers obtain post-graduate scholarships from the SEC: Gio Linscheer – $5,000 as a nominee for the Brad Davis Community Service Award. Eric Brown – $10,000 as a nominee for the SEC’s Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Post-Graduate Scholarship.

To be acknowledged to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, every student-athlete should 1) have a GPA of three.00 for both the previous tutorial 12 months or have a cumulative GPA of three.00 or above on the nominating establishment; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity group for 2 years if non-scholarship; 3) have accomplished 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit score on the nominating establishment; and 4) have been a member of the varsity group for the game’s whole NCAA Championship phase.
