Sandy Lions Journey to North Alabama Beach Ball

HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University seashore volleyball workforce will return to the sand to compete within the North Alabama Beach Ball for its remaining event of the common season on the UNA Beach Volleyball Courts.

Southeastern (14-12, 5-2 SLC) will embark on its final street journey of the common season after closing out 2-2 within the Battle on the Bayou. The Sandy Lions dominated with 5-0 sweep versus convention rival Nicholls and 3-2 victory over New Orleans, extending the inexperienced and gold’s eight-match profitable streak. SLU ended the weekend, struggling a 5-0 loss in opposition to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and a 4-1 defeat versus No. 12 LSU.

The Sandy Lions will open serve Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in opposition to Central Arkansas (13-14, 1-1) earlier than going through Missouri State (21-3, 3-0) at 2 p.m. to shut out the day. The Sugar Bears will search to increase a profitable streak after claiming a 4-1 victory over convention foe New Orleans. Missouri State will look to compound its momentum of a six-match profitable streak after competing within the Austin Peay Invitational.

SLU will return to the sand with an early begin to the ultimate day of the event, going through host North Alabama (18-12, 5-2) at 9 a.m. The Lions will look to proceed their momentum after recording a 4-1 victory over Berry College and UT Martin final weekend on the street.

Concluding Friday morning, Southeastern will journey to Corpus Christi, Texas to compete within the 2026 Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Championship Tournament Wednesday, April 22-24.
