Ladies’s Hoops Pronounces Addition of Brandi Stanford

FAIRBANKS – The Nanooks ladies’s basketball group has introduced the addition of Brandi Stanford. Stanford is a 5-6 level guard from Lacey, Wash., and joins the Nanooks from River Ridge High School.

“We’re very excited to add a player of Brandi’s caliber to our program,” stated head coach Michael Ricks. “She’s a dynamic athlete who can impact the game in so many ways. She’s an aggressive defender, creates offense for herself and others, and plays with a level of toughness and competitiveness that we value.”

Stanford averaged 20 factors, six assists and 6 steals per sport at River Ridge, totaling 1,965 factors over her highschool profession. She earned South Sound Conference First Team All-League all 4 years and was a three-time Defensive All-League choice. She additionally performed DODEA European Basketball, the place she earned Rookie of the Year honors, together with All-League MVP, and was a DODEA European Champion.
