COCC hosts annual enjoyable runs in May

Central Oregon Community College’s annual enjoyable runs are developing: the four-mile Jungle Run at 5:30 p.m. May 7 and the two-mile 465-step Storm the Stairs at 5:30 p.m. May 19.

Both races function scholarship fundraisers and are free for COCC college students. They are $15 plus processing charges for different runners. All entrants will obtain a T-shirt and dinner. Day-of registration is $20. There might be prizes for each occasions and registration is at cocc.edu/sports activities.

The Jungle Run is a two-mile loop which will be run a couple of times. The course options mud bogs, log bridges and a number of other sharp ascents and descents. It begins on the Mazama monitor.

Storm the Stairs is a difficult two-mile run and stroll. It begins on the Mazama monitor and navigates 465 stairs up, down and across the Bend campus, together with by means of buildings.
