NAACP Joins Rising Coalition of Over 120 Organizations to Concern Journey Advisory for 2026 FIFA World Cup

WASHINGTON – Today, the NAACP has formally signed onto a comprehensive travel advisory regarding the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, together with a strong coalition of over 120 teams spanning all 11 U.S. host cities. The coalition is warning that followers, gamers, journalists, and different guests touring for the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup might be liable to critical rights violations because the Trump administration doubles down on its oppressive immigration and anti-human rights agenda.

The 2026 World Cup, which might be held between June 11 and July 19, may carry as many as 10 million guests to 11 U.S. cities this summer season, making it the biggest sporting occasion in historical past.
