“When we started Roll and Read, we wanted to have it downtown because we wanted to encourage and engage families in a location that maybe a lot of them haven’t been,” Fairley stated.
“When you have young children, you’re not always out and about, so we’re trying to get them downtown to support Topeka. Evergy Plaza has been a great host to us the last couple of years, and so we really are just encouraging families to get out and to be active,” Fairley continued.
