‘Boundless’ images exhibit opens in Hopkinton

Four New Hampshire photographers will show their work at Two Villages Art Society in an exhibit titled “Boundless: Expansive Views of Land and Imagination.” The present opens on the gallery in Contoocook on May 2, with a gap reception from 12-2 p.m.

The exhibitors are William Balsam (Warner), Tom McHugh (New London), Lindsay Holmes
(New London), and Jay Fitzpatrick (Andover).

“Photography is a language that weaves a tapestry of light, tones, and color. At its best,
photography reveals subtle differences in the warp and weft of the tapestry,” mentioned Balsam. “The exhibit is not only visually striking, but may also reveal a hidden world just beneath the surface of what we perceive.”

Balsam is a retired geology professor who makes use of images to doc the connection
between large-scale landscapes and the detailed texture of rocks and fossils. The sweeping
