Greenwood, Ind. – After touchdown All-American honors within the 200 again at NCAA Nationals and a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District nod, sophomore Amelia Marsicek (Centennial. Col./Regis Jesuit) added to her trophy case as she landed CSC Second Team Academic All-American accolades for her efforts within the pool and within the classroom.
Marsicek is the primary Lewis University girls’s swimmer to earn CSC Academic All-American accolades in program historical past. The Centennial, Colorado, native boasts a 3.93 GPA whereas majoring in aviation flight know-how. Withing the Great Lakes Valley Conference, she joins Celina Schmidt (UIndy) and Maria Fe Munoz (Drury) as the one three feminine swimmers to earn All-American distinction. Marsicek additionally set a then Lewis file within the 100 again with a 55.92 time on the GLVC Swimming and Diving Championships.
