This May, Click2Science will current Making STEM Fun!—a brand new workshop about educating STEM in out-of-school time—throughout Nebraska.

This two-hour workshop is designed to provide new and skilled educators ready-to-use methods to extend engagement in STEM studying and make STEM actions extra enjoyable for each learners and lecturers. The workshop options hands-on actions and techniques for sparking curiosity in STEM. It additionally contains methods for managing STEM actions and proactive conduct administration. All out-of-school time educators are invited to attend, from part-time workers to web site administrators and lecturers.

Workshop contributors will…

  • study methods for sparking curiosity in STEM and managing STEM experiences,
  • be ready to make use of proactive conduct administration methods throughout STEM actions, and
  • observe making use of these expertise in STEM actions they’ll take again to their packages.

  • May 6: Panhandle Research and Extension Center, Scottsbluff
  • May 14: ESU-16, North Platte
  • May 18: Schuyler Community Schools, Schuyler
  • May 28: Bancroft-Rosalie Public Schools Library, Bancroft

All workshops will happen from 6:15-8:15 p.m., aside from the May 18 workshop in Schuyler, which is able to happen from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Doors will open half-hour earlier than workshops start, and lightweight meals will likely be served for registered contributors.
