Delamar West Hartford named to Travel + Leisure 500 greatest motels

The West Hartford resort opened in 2017,  becoming a member of sister motels Delamar Southport and Delamar Greenwich Harbor. Last yr, the Delamar Mystic and Delamar Westport opened.

“With this undertaking,” Mallory said of the West Hartford location, “we aimed to create a boutique resort that will be deemed distinctive in any main metro space.”

Delamar West Hartford partnered with the New Britain Museum of American Art for curation of artwork on the resort, with the primary installment that includes “East & West Coast Cool: American Art, Nineteen Sixties to Now,” by iconic American pop artists, including Andy Warhol.

A Delamar Hotel Collection news release about the T+L listing says the West Hartford hotel “seamlessly blends up to date sophistication with timeless European-inspired design. Guests are welcomed into thoughtfully appointed lodging, the award-winning restaurant Artisan led by chef Frederic Kieffer and a full-service spa providing curated wellness experiences.” 

Prices for a one-night stay, according to booking information on the Delamar West Hartford website, range from $930.99 for the Junior Suite to $2,109.60 for the Presidential Suite.

The Delamar Collection additionally has a resort in Traverse City, Mich.
