2026 Mustang Awards Held Sunday
SMU Athletics held its annual Mustang Awards on Sunday evening at McFarlin Auditorium, bringing student-athletes collectively for his or her end-of-the-year award ceremony. Select Mustangs earned recognition for his or her contributions to their groups by way of lecturers, management, service, and standout athletics all through the 2025-2026 seasons.
 
The most prestigious honor, the Athletic Director’s R.U.N. Award, was offered to Trevor Svajda from Men’s Tennis and Hali Hartman from Women’s Soccer for embodying the drive and willpower of a Mustang. The awardees are Relentless within the pursuit of successful, on and off the sphere; unstoppable in overcoming private, educational, and athletic challenges; and by no means glad with good, ever striving for one thing better, one thing extra.
