Project Support Worker
Hours: 25 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term contract to thirty first December 2026, with the opportunity of extension topic to continued funding
Location: Drogheda and the encompassing space – centre and home-based help
Responsibilities
The Project Support Worker will present a spread of parenting helps to Ukrainian and International Protection Applicant (IPA) households in Drogheda and the encompassing space.
- Facilitate and organise centre-based guardian and/or guardian and little one programmes.
- Invite mother and father to take part in programmes, explaining the advantages and the character of supply.
- Deliver and implement the Lifestart Growing Child programme within the house setting on a one-to-one foundation.
- Appropriately display using supporting assets and clarify developmental ideas.
- Keep correct experiences and information, as required.
- Provide authorized extra supplies or info as applicable.
- Undertake related coaching, as required.
- Become conscious of related native statutory, voluntary and group suppliers throughout the space.
- Attend conferences with related professionals/businesses, as requested.
- Liaise and work in partnership with related businesses at a neighborhood stage.
- Adhere to the insurance policies and procedures of the organisation.
Experience and Qualifications
- A related tutorial qualification (minimal QQI Level 6) in Early Years Education, Social Studies, Youth and Community, or a associated subject.
- 2+ years’ expertise working in early childhood training or household help.
- Strong curiosity and background in little one growth, well being, wellbeing, and household help.
- Demonstrated data of group growth, inclusion, and trauma-informed follow.
- Experience working with households of their properties or in community-based settings.
- Advocacy and networking expertise.
- Understanding of and dedication to the promotion of equal alternatives and cultural range.
- Experience offering info and help to people and teams.
- Experience working with ethnic minority communities, notably worldwide safety candidates and refugees.
- Knowledge of kid safety insurance policies.
- Full driving licence and entry to personal automotive.
