Swimming and Diving Proclaims Hiring of Kat Mueller

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University swimming and diving program, below the path of head coach Amanda Caldwell, introduced the hiring of Kat Mueller as this system’s Assistant Swimming Coach.

Mueller joined the Green Wave after being at Marshall University. She started in 2024 as Assistant Swim Coach, after graduating from Purdue in 2023 whereas being co-captain of their swim & dive program. She holds a bachelor’s of arts in Social Studies Teacher Education.

Marshall completed the 2025-26 season with a 4-1 document below Mueller’s help. The staff completed out their yr on the American Championship Finals with athlete Elyse Wood setting a program document and successful sliver within the 100 Freestyle.

Tulane’s swimming and diving program had one other sturdy season in ending fifth total on the 2026 American Conference Swimming Championships with 905.50 factors.
