Here’s one thing most {couples} do not realize: a wet day at Chateau Lill shouldn’t be an issue. It’s only a totally different type of lovely.

I’ve shot wet weddings right here and walked away with a few of my most dramatic and romantic galleries. At one wedding ceremony, it began to sprinkle proper as we had been starting household images. We merely moved everybody to the entrance of the chateau and had the household groupings stand below the awning with the wine barrels framing their portraits. You could not inform it was raining in a single photograph — and everybody stayed completely dry. (Except me. But that is what I’m there for.)

When the climate turns, here is the place I take {couples}:

The Grand Ballroom. This is the wet day jackpot. Floor-to-ceiling home windows, a dramatic fire, a window seat constructed for portraits, hovering ceilings, and brass chandeliers that catch the sunshine in essentially the most romantic manner. This room works for intimate {couples} portraits and huge group pictures equally nicely — the dimensions of the area handles each fantastically.

The grand staircase from the bridal suite. Gorgeous pure mild, loads of area, and architectural particulars that make each pose look intentional. One of my favourite indoor portrait areas at any venue I shoot.

The barrel room. Moody, dramatic, unmistakably Chateau Lill. Combined with off-camera flash, this room produces pictures that look nothing like a typical wedding ceremony gallery — in the very best manner.
