The Standard: Time Flies When Your Having Enjoyable

As I sit right here reflecting on my final 4 years right here at Brother Rice I’ve come to the conclusion that I had a blast.  

I spent most of my time as a Crusader Crazy going to soccer and basketball video games. However, my most memorable second is enjoying baseball for a high rated baseball program within the nation. The friendship and the camaraderie from my teammates is what I’ll cherish essentially the most.

One of my favourite moments as an athlete at Brother Rice must be enjoying at Wrigley area in opposition to our rival Mt. Carmel. Walking beneath the tunnels, within the outfield, and into the membership home after the sport felt surreal.

One of my favourite moments as a Crazy must be touring all the way down to Champaign, Ill., in March of 2025, when the basketball crew made it downstate. The better part about that journey was after we beat St. Patrick within the state semi-final sport and the way a lot enjoyable we had after.

On a distinct notice, one in every of my favourite lessons needed to be US History with Coach Gleeson. It wasn’t the topic that made it my favourite, it was the folks. I’ve met a few of my greatest pals in that class.

Following that, my favourite trainer must be Coach Gleeson. Mr. Gleeson has taught me so many life classes all through my time at Brother Rice and I’m so grateful for him. He has not solely made me a greater particular person, however he turned me into a greater man.

A message to the underclassmen that I’d give is to soak all of it in. It sounds cliche however time flies. I bear in mind my first day right here prefer it was yesterday, so get pleasure from each second, get entangled, and have enjoyable.

Overall, I’m so grateful for making the selection to come back to Brother Rice because it was top-of-the-line selections I’ve ever made.
