Two extra Seattle seashores have been deemed unsafe for swimming.

Matthews Beach Park and Pritchard Island Beach might make swimmers sick, Seattle Parks said in an X post Wednesday. Officials discovered excessive ranges of micro organism within the water on the seashores.

Seattle Parks additionally reminded the general public of poisonous algae at Green Lake Park. Officials stated the lake is unsafe for folks and pets.

“Do not swim or water ski. Do not drink lake water. Keep pets and livestock away. Clean fish well, discard guts. Avoid areas of scum when boating,” Seattle Parks said.
