Sadly, many believers cannot be identified as Christians by their conduct, character, or lifestyle. If someone must wait until you pray in tongues before recognizing Christ in you, something is missing. The love, peace, joy, and nature of God should flow from your life so powerfully that anyone who encounters you can discern the reality of His presence. This applies to everyone: preachers, parents, leaders, and believers alike. The Kingdom of God advances not only through the demonstration of power but also through the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, patience, kindness. These are the attributes of the Holy Spirit expressed through a transformed life. Let your light so shine. Many people think only of miracles when they think of Kingdom impact, but there is another dimension: lifestyle. Your lifestyle is a greater preacher than your sermons. Don’t preach kindness and live contrary to the message. Become the message!
