Gophers Add Redondo to Coaching Workers

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – The University of Minnesota swimming and diving program introduced right this moment the addition of program alumni Logan Redondo as an Assistant Coach for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

 

Redondo spent the 2025-26 season with the University of Virginia Swimming and Diving Program, serving because the Director of Professional Performance and Data Analysis. While with the Cavaliers, Redondo developed athlete efficiency profiling packages to assist consider tactical efficiency, coaching diversifications, stroke effectivity, and race technique in high-performance environments. Before arriving at UVA, Redondo served as the top senior coach for the Mission Viejo Nadadores for 4 years. During Redondo’s time with the Nadadores, his swimmers earned 10 gold medals at Junior Nationals and received two particular person high-point awards. His swimmers have set three nationwide age group data, three Junior National meet data, greater than 10 Southern California Swimming data and a number of Philippine and Venezuelan nationwide data. He took the membership from having no athletes above the US Open stage to having seven US Nationals qualifiers, 4 US Junior National crew members, three Olympic Trials qualifiers and one senior nationwide crew member on the United States, Philippines and Venezuelan squads.

Before teaching the membership, Logan swam for Mission Viejo, representing the Nadadores on the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Trials, ending 18th within the 1500m freestyle on the 2016 Olympic Trials.

 

Redondo swam 4 years on the University of Minnesota, representing the Gophers on the Big Ten and NCAA championships. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017 with a BS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Psychology.
