SIGN UP FOR THE MAYOR’S RUN FOR THE TRAILS 5K + KIDS FUN RUN • Johnston, IA

The Mayor’s Run for the Trails 5K + Kids Fun Run will happen on Saturday, Aug. 13 at Terra Park. Sign up right now to safe your spot within the race and assist help Johnston’s trails. 

The registration price features a short-sleeve efficiency mix t-shirt. If you register after 7/30/22, your shirt dimension shouldn’t be assured. We will do our greatest to extend shirt sizes in portions earlier than the order is positioned to accommodate runners. We apologize upfront should you order a shirt after July thirtieth and we now not have that dimension out there. View the race map (PDF).

5K Registration Fees for 5K:

• Before 7/30/22: $30
• 7/31/22 – 8/6/22: $35
• 8/7/22 – 8/13/22: $40

Kids Fun Runs Registration Fees:

• Before 7/30/22: $10
• 7/31/22 – 8/13/22: $15
  

Recommended age teams for the runs:

• 100-meter youngsters enjoyable run: ages 2-5
• 0.62 across the lake: ages 6-12
• 5K: ages 13+

Chip Timing: Each 5K participant may have their run/stroll chip timed. 

Packets: We encourage members to choose up their packets on Friday, Aug. 12 from 4-6 p.m. at Fitness Sports, Johnston. If you might be unable to choose them up on Friday, packets will likely be out there on race morning. 

Athlete Swag: T-shirts and medals will likely be supplied for the runners. 

Food: Fareway will likely be offering the after-race meals. 

Photos: Photos will likely be taken throughout the occasion of the runners. We encourage you to take a selfie and tag us utilizing #MayorsRunforTrails2022.

Prizes by Age Group: Prizes for prime females and males will likely be awarded within the following age teams:

• 19 and below
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60+
