Student nature images exhibition opens – Jesus College

An exhibition of images of the pure world, taken by Jesus College college students as a part of a latest student-led images competitors, has gone on present within the College’s Fourth Quad, and on-line.

The Jesus Student Nature Photography Exhibition is the fruits of a contest which set the JCR and MCR a problem to seize the fantastic thing about nature on digicam. The competitors was devised by Luca Feuerriegel (MCR Environment Rep) with assist from India Worthington and Megan Jenkins, (JCR Environment Reps), and the College’s Environmental Sustainability Working Group.

The broad temporary gave college students the alternatives to submit imagery of the wildlife on their doorsteps, images taken throughout holidays or expeditions, or photographs that embodied what environmental sustainability meant to them. The images within the exhibition had been chosen from a powerful 85 submissions to the competitors. Such was the vary and high quality of all of the entries, the judges selected 13, slightly than the proposed ten, to take ahead to the exhibition.

Each shortlisted {photograph} was chosen as a result of it speaks to the sweetness, and fragility, of our pure world.
