Males’s Swimming and Diving Earns 20 Spots on NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Group

Marlboro, MA — The WPI males’s swimming and diving staff positioned 20 student-athletes on the 2026 Winter NEWMAC Academic All-Conference checklist as introduced by the league workplace. The Engineers garnered the second most honorees within the convention behind solely MIT’s 22 picks.

Sophomores Angad Ahluwalia (Attleboro, MA), Nick Braun (Portland, OR), Aidan Domanico (New Windsor, NY), Mohammad Eissa (Cairo, Egypt), Tyson Elliott (Portland, OR), Nikita Ostapenko (Acton, ME), and Angelo Reade (Newburgh, NY), together with senior Christopher Smith (Northbridge, MA), every earned the accolade for the primary time of their careers.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes will need to have maintained a minimal cumulative GPA of three.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or 4.35 (on a 5.0 scale) following the 2025 fall semester, achieved at the very least sophomore tutorial standing, and been a member of the varsity staff for the complete season.
