Swimmers dive in to struggle most cancers at tenth annual Swim Across America–Charleston-Kiawah open water swim

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) — Hundreds of swimmers and volunteers are on the brink of dive in and make waves to struggle most cancers on the tenth annual Swim Across America – Charleston-Kiawah open water swim on Saturday, June 6, at Night Heron Park at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.

Swimmers of all ages and talent ranges are invited to participate within the annual Swim Across America – Charleston-Kiawah open water swim. Participants can swim a half-mile or a 1.5-mile open water course, or participate in a same-day pool swim.

Event Schedule:

• 6:30-7:15 a.m.: Registration opens
• 7 a.m.: Olympian pictures
• 7:30 a.m.: Welcome and particular audio system
• 8:30 a.m.: 1.5-mile swimmers begin
• 8:45 a.m.: Pool swim begins
• 9 a.m.: Half-mile swimmers begin
• 10 a.m.: Event concludes

Established in 2017, Swim Across America – Charleston-Kiawah has raised greater than $600,000 for the Hollings Cancer Center on the Medical University of South Carolina.
