The Smith Park pool shall be open to the general public for recreation swim and Lap Swim till Saturday, August 16, providing neighborhood members a spot to chill off, benefit from the water, and spend time with household and mates. 

Recreation swim hours are as follows:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Fridays: 1 to three:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 4:30 to six:30 p.m.

Lap swim hours (beginning June 17):

Wading pool hours (free for all ages):

  • Tuesday by Friday: 9 a.m. to three p.m. (Friday till 3:30 p.m.)
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 4:30 to six:30 p.m.

Entry charges are:

  • $5 for ages 10 and older for Lap Swim (should be repeatedly swimming)
  • $2 for youngsters ages 0–17
  • $3 for adults ages 18 and older
    Only precise money or Visa/MasterCard shall be accepted. A 2.9% processing charge applies to all card transactions.

Pool pointers embody:

  • Swimmers should put on correct swimwear. Cutoffs and basketball shorts usually are not allowed.
  • Children below 13 should be accompanied by an grownup.
