CBMM membership makes summer season extra enjoyable!

We’re wanting ahead to a summer season crammed with festivals, new exhibitions, on-the-water experiences, Chesapeake Celebrations, Family Funday Sundays, and a lot extra throughout our waterfront campus.

Whether you’re becoming a member of us for the St. Michaels Flag Day Celebration (June 14), Antique & Classic Boat Festival and Coastal Arts Fair (June 19-21), Chesapeake Celebrations: Play on the Bay (June 27), Big Band Night (July 5), our Stories from the Shoreline grand opening celebration (July 18), Watermen’s Appreciation Day (Aug. 9), or higher but, experiencing all of them, it’s a particular time to go to CBMM.

Win Ed’s Tickets!

Ed Zawitoski’s dedication to CBMM is exceptional.

Whether serving as visitor host within the Welcome Center and aboard PATRIOT, main excursions for teams of all ages, sharing the enjoyment of fishing from our docks on Free Fishing Friday, or pitching in at Member Night, Ed’s enthusiasm for our mission shines by. In all, he’s logged almost 1,500 volunteer hours over the previous two years.

Earlier this 12 months, we had been thrilled to appoint Ed for the Talbot Day Citizen & Service Awards in recognition of all that he does to make a constructive affect throughout our campus and mission.

Last 12 months, Ed, a longtime Baltimore Ravens season ticket holder, got here up with the concept of donating a pair of his tickets as an incentive to assist develop our member group.

Joseph Crawford was the inaugural winner and loved watching the Ravens beat the New York Jets final November from Ed’s seats.

Now, Ed has graciously prolonged the supply once more. He will let the winner determine which house sport they’d wish to attend.

“I just want to show my appreciation for what CBMM has given to me,” Zawitoski mentioned. “I get to meet so many wonderful individuals coming in from all parts of the country, and it’s a real joy to share this special place with them.”
