Travel reminiscences needed for upcoming CaminARTE gallery

Laredo residents are invited to showcase their favourite journey reminiscences by images as Travel Social Club launches a contest that can culminate in a gallery exhibition throughout July’s CaminARTE artwork stroll.

Participants have till June 26 to submit their entries.

Printed pictures could also be dropped off at Dosis Coffee, 7220A Bob Bullock Loop, Suite 105, from noon-2 p.m., or at Encuentros Cafe, 2715 E. Del Mar Blvd., Suite A8, from 9 a.m. to eight p.m.

Selected pictures will probably be displayed throughout an exhibit opening July 3 at Casa Ortiz.

According to contest organizers, entries could also be submitted within the following classes:

Landscapes and Architecture

Participants could submit as much as 5 printed pictures in sizes 6×8, 8×10 or 11×14. Photos could also be framed or unframed.

Each submission should embody the photographer’s first and final identify, the vacation spot proven within the picture and a one-line description connected to the again of the print.

Contest guidelines prohibit using synthetic intelligence-generated pictures. Photographs should be the entrant’s unique work and will not comprise nudity, drug use or pictures of minors with out consent.

Prizes embody an eight-class package deal from Orangetheory Fitness, two tickets to opening night time of “Little Shop of Horrors” at Laredo Theatre Guild International and low merchandise and a present card from Organic Man Coffee Trike.
