From The Quiet Epidemic:

Art as Witness: A Living Exposition of Lyme & Tick-Borne Disease is a brand new touring multimedia exhibition that brings collectively images, movie, and dwell dialog to light up probably the most misunderstood well being crises of our time—the epidemic of Lyme and tick-borne illness.

Hosted in partnership with LymeLnk, our inaugural set up opens June 23 from 7:30–9:30 PM at designers collab., 96 N fifth St, Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Light bites, wine, and mocktails shall be served, and admission is free.

At the center of the night is Nowhere Land, a surprising multimedia exhibition by artist Jiatong Lu, whose photographs give face and type to the invisible struggling of Lyme and tick-borne illness. Alongside it, scenes from The Quiet Epidemic will floor the exhibition within the pressing, ongoing combat for affected person recognition and medical accountability.

The exhibition shall be adopted by a panel dialogue that includes artist Jiatong Lu, investigative journalist Mary Beth Pfeiffer and neuropsychiatrist Dr. Shannon Delaney, moderated by The Quiet Epidemic co-director Lindsay Keys.
