Lately: June Fun!

We had SUCH a good time on our Universal trip that I felt unhappy for a number of days after! I missed the boys greater than regular once they went to their dad’s after a lot time collectively. (Actually Mazen has been on the seashore with a good friend and having the very best time!)

Pool Time

Our pool opened and the climate has been swim-friendly! It’s such a beautiful place for teenagers in the summertime. And that is the primary yr that Birch goes into the season as a robust swimmer!

Fridays After Five

Mazen has joined the teenager scene at Fridays After Five, our summer time live performance collection downtown. I like colliding with him hanging along with his pals to see what teen life is like in 2026 (a minimum of the seen elements!) Look how cool:

Scooter Walks

The scooter scene is powerful too. We go for a “scooter walk” virtually each evening. The boys request it, and I really like strolling at nightfall. Win win!

My favourite comic, John Mullaney, got here to Richmond, and he was a must-see!!!! Definitely try his exhibits on Netflix. “New In Town” is my favourite. He’s a comedic genius, and he was fabulous in actual life!

Dinner at Chez Foushee

Afterwards we went to dinner at Chez Foushee, recognized for its superb French meals.

Working Wine Date

Ivy satisfied me to take my laptop computer to Michael Shaps for the afternoon. This was the very best and worst alternative of the week haha. But we felt like we have been within the French countryside!

Salmon Burgers on English Muffins

I attempted to eat up as a lot of my freezer earlier than transferring! I made a diffusion with Greek yogurt and recent dill that was excellent for the burgers.

Loaded Potatoes

Mazen requested loaded baked potatoes with bacon, so we had them for dinner with asparagus. The yogurt and recent dill addition actually amped them up!

Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

Another kid-friendly favourite. N/A Aperol Spritz within the again!

Pork + Rice Bowls
