‘It’s cool, it’s enjoyable, it’s scary’: Anchorage lady reacts to moose taking part in in her pool

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A south Anchorage lady shared her ideas after a moose waded by her inflatable pool on June 19.

Julie Mitchell advised Alaska’s News Source that she’s used to seeing animals strolling by her yard, having as soon as seen 5 moose on her property on the similar time.

“This is the third set in the last couple of days,” she stated.

“I had a mom with two babies that were born last summer, and they hung out for two days, slept, and I think they had just been born, but it was so safe and green back here that they really like it.”

Mitchell stated that this was the primary time a moose had ever taken a dip in her pool.

“Most people don’t have the opportunity to see that kind of stuff but watching that moose play in the pool was just crazy.”
