Raleigh police urge summer season journey security as free security collection continues

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) — As households throughout the Triangle hit the highway for summer season holidays and weekend journeys, Raleigh police are urging residents to take additional precautions earlier than touring.

The Raleigh Police Department’s Community IMPACT and Engagement Division is internet hosting town’s Summer Safety Series, a free weekly program working by Aug. 4 that focuses on seasonal security subjects.

This week’s session, led by Raleigh police and the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, targeted on journey security throughout one of many busiest instances of the yr. Topics included pre-trip car checks, the risks of leaving youngsters or pets in scorching vehicles and different ideas to assist households keep protected on the highway.
