Job Summary: The Photography Intern will assist the Sacramento Kings Photography Department by occasion protection, game-day assist, images operations, asset administration, and studio productions. This function is designed to broaden the division’s means to cowl organizational occasions, group initiatives, partnerships, and fan experiences whereas sustaining excessive requirements of images and content material group.

 

Program Period: July 2026 – End of 2026-27 Sacramento Kings Season

 

Responsibilities:

Photography Operations & Asset Management

• Ingest, arrange, archive, and ship images property
• Assist with picture requests and asset distribution
• Support ScorePlay group and picture administration
• Maintain images tools and stock

Event Coverage

• Independently {photograph} assigned occasions and ship edited galleries
• Cover participant appearances, group occasions, youth clinics, sponsor activations, partnership occasions, charity occasions, and organizational features

Game Day Support

• Capture fan expertise, area environment, sponsor activations, hospitality areas, group moments, behind-the-scenes content material, and particular requests
• Support the Photography Department by documenting components of sport day exterior of stay sport motion

Studio & Team Store Photography

• Assist with studio productions and Team Store images
• Support lighting setups, shoot logistics, and merchandise images
• Assist on picture shoots and independently cowl choose images assignments as wanted

 

Qualifications:

• Strong basis in images fundamentals and digicam operation
• Experience taking pictures stay occasions, sports activities, and/or live shows
• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
• Ability to ingest, arrange, edit, and export images property
• Strong organizational abilities and understanding of picture archiving workflows

To qualify for Kings University internships, you should be:

• Currently enrolled in faculty or have graduated inside 12 months

• Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento workplace

• Able to work as much as 29 hours per week

 

Interns shall be compensated $17.50 per hour and obtain advantages similar to California Paid Sick Leave, reductions on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
