Swim wins Scholar All-America Team Award

Official CSCAA Release 

TACOMA, Wash. — The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) acknowledged the Pacific Lutheran University males’s and girls’s swimming applications for fulfillment within the classroom with each groups securing the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award for the spring 2026 semester.

The Lute girls safe the honored with a 3.41 grade level common (on a 4.0 scale) whereas the boys log the award with a 3.40 GPA. The Lutes are amongst six groups from the Northwest Conference to be acknowledged, becoming a member of league rivals George Fox University, University of Puget Sound, Whitman College, Whitworth University, and Willamette University. 

All advised, 714 groups representing 418 establishments received the respect this spring, collectively representing 16,680 collegiate student-athletes from all three NCAA divisions, the NAIA, and the NJCAA.  

The Lutes’ success this spring prolonged past the classroom. The girls completed the 12 months with a 3rd place exhibiting on the NWC Championships in Boise, Idaho whereas the boys positioned fifth. It was the perfect exhibiting for each applications because the 2021-2022 season. The two squads mixed to have 11 student-athletes earn All-Conference honors (eight girls and three males) whereas eight student-athletes earned Academic All-District accolades from College Sports Communicators (CSC).
