Father drowns whereas swimming together with his son in Owosso lake, officers say

OWOSSO, Mich. (News 10) – A father misplaced his life on Thursday whereas swimming together with his son in an Owosso lake, Shiawassee County deputies informed News 10.

According to legislation enforcement, the drowning occurred round 5 p.m. that night.

Officials say a person round 40-years-old went swimming together with his eight-year-old son at a campground on Krouse Road, making it half approach throughout the lake.

Nearby campers then heard each of them yelling for assist.

A close-by man entered the water and tried to maintain each afloat, however couldn’t hold each above water. However, the kid was taken to shore.

First responding Shiawassee and Owosso legislation enforcement officers then entered the water to save lots of the person.

He was discovered unconscious and faraway from the lake after about 20 minutes within the water. Lifesaving measures have been tried and he was taken to Owosso Memorial Hospital the place he was declared useless.
