Watts Named CSCAA Scholar All-American for Second Time

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John’s University rising senior diver Cody Watts (St. Cloud, Minn./Tech) earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America second-team honors, introduced by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, for the second-consecutive season on July 2.

To qualify for the Scholar All-America first workforce, student-athletes should have earned a GPA of three.5 or greater and took part at nationals. Second-team alternatives should have additionally earned a 3.5 GPA or greater and met an NIC “A” time customary in Division I or an NCAA “B” qualifying customary for the nationwide championship or certified for a diving zone qualification meet for Division II, Division III and NAIA.

The SJU swimming and diving workforce achieved CSCAA Scholar All-America honors for Spring 2026 on July 1. Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first group of school coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the game of swimming and diving with coaches on the epicenter of management, advocacy, {and professional} improvement.

The Johnnies completed third out of six groups Feb. 11-14 on the 2026 MIAC Championships and tied for thirty seventh out of 46 groups March 18-21 on the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis.
