Manon Field, Sarah Moraw Named CSC Academic All-Americans

MINNEAPOLIS – Two Gophers have been named to the At-Large Division I Women’s College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® groups, the group introduced on Tuesday.

Sarah Moraw (gymnastics) was named a CSC First Team Academic All-American whereas Manon Field (rowing) made the third group.

Moraw, who’s pursuing her grasp’s in human sources and industrial relations, holds a 4.0 GPA. She was offered with the Elite Scholar-Athlete Award in the course of the NCAA Championships on April 16. In her profession on the ‘U’, Moraw is an AAI Award Nominee, a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a two-time All-Big Ten Second Team member. She made the Big Ten All-Championships Team in 2024 after tying for the Big Ten Balance Beam title. A two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar (2023-24, 2024-25), Moraw was a CSC Academic All-District honoree in 2024-25. She’s a three-time WCGA Scholastic All-American. She earned NCAA Championships Second Team All-America on Beam at nationals in 2026.

A premier student-athlete on the water and within the classroom, Field maintained a 3.94 GPA as a mobile and organismal physiology main throughout 4 years with Gopher rowing. The two-time All-Big Ten choice and three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar helped lead Minnesota to 13 profession race victories. During her last season, she competed in all six regattas with the First Varsity Eight crew, powering the boat to a B1G Petite Final victory and a sweep of rivals Iowa, Wisconsin and Kansas on the Twin Cities 2K. Field capped her stellar Maroon and Gold profession by profitable three of her last 4 races.

To be thought-about for a CSC Academic All-America Team, nominees should meet the next standards:

• A student-athlete have to be at the least a sophomore with at the least a 3.50 cumulative grade level common (on a 4.0 scale) at their present establishment. 

• A graduate student-athlete will need to have at the least a 3.50 cumulative grade level common (on a 4.0 scale) as each an undergraduate and a grad scholar until they’re of their first semester as a graduate scholar and do not have a longtime graduate GPA.

• Eligible people have to compete in 4 competitions OR end prime eight at a convention meet.

Nominations are restricted to a few student-athletes per establishment for each males’s and girls’s groups. Student-athletes who’re nominated are then evaluated by a sub-committee to find out if they’ll advance to the Academic All-America poll. Academic All-America nominees are then voted on by the CSC members.
