Open Spaces Exhibit on the Art Hive Intertwines Sculpture and Pictures

Exhibition Opens 4th Friday Art Walk, July twenty fourth

PRESCOTT, AZ—July 9, 2026— Working from direct expertise with objects and landscapes, Newt Lynn, photographer and Kevin Kennedy, sculptor, current two our bodies of labor within the entrance gallery of the Art Hive that be a part of by a standard narrative—creating an emotional connection between the observer and the noticed.

Kevin Kennedy, the annual Art Hive visiting artist from Vermont, employs the sculptural kind as a language to discover concepts referring to stability, containment, motion and immobility. “Artists of true power find ways to speak through a common narrative. They start from a place they know, and work into a place that is known by all,” said Kennedy. Newt Lynn’s panorama pictures focuses on particular moments in place and time, creating empathy and a place-based emotional reference to the viewer. Lynn’s work may be present in Studio 2 on the Art Hive. In addition to the featured exhibit, the 30+ resident artist studios can be open through the occasion.
