Position Description: The Director of Swimming and Diving is chargeable for offering management and supervision for all features of a NCAA Division I swimming and diving program by recruiting academically certified potential student-athletes, creating and implementing efficient coaching classes, practices and recreation methods, educating and training student-athletes, and supporting student-athletes of their private, educational and athletic growth at Merrimack College. This full-time place, reporting to an assigned sports activities administrator, is chargeable for oversight of the swimming and diving program in accordance with NCAA Division I, Conference, and Merrimack College guidelines, rules and insurance policies.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all features of the swimming and diving program, demonstrating efficient communication and planning, robust organizational and administrative expertise, sound decision-making and visionary management.

2. Responsible for the recruitment of high quality student-athletes to satisfy specified enrollment objectives, which incorporates evaluating expertise, visiting/speaking with potential student-athletes and oldsters/guardians, planning on-campus visits and finishing the suitable types and speaking with the athletic compliance workplace, as wanted.

3. Determine athletic scholarship allocation for potential student-athletes, working inside necessities set and communicated by athletic administration.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s diploma from an accredited school or college.
