ECO Cultural Institute launches worldwide cell pictures pageant

TEHRAN- The ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) has formally introduced a name for entries for the first-ever ECO International Mobile Photography Festival, titled “Our Heritage.”

Centered on the theme “Passing on Heritage,” the pageant seeks to seize the dwelling essence of cultural transmission. 

Citizens of ECO Member States are invited to submit cell images that doc the passing of conventional data, ancestral expertise, customs, and cultural practices from one era to the subsequent.

The initiative goals to spotlight the energetic preservation of regional identification, specializing in moments such because the instructing of conventional handicrafts, the efficiency of folks music, the observance of historic rituals, and the artwork of oral storytelling.

The name for submissions is open to nationals of all ECO Member States, together with Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The window for entries will run from July 12 to September 12, 2026.

According to an announcement from the ECI, all entries have to be captured solely utilizing cell phone cameras. Submissions may be made by way of the Institute’s official web site or by way of electronic mail at pageant@ecieco.org. 

The competitors will function three major prize classes, with a Special Certificate of Recognition awarded to the top-ranked entry from every taking part Member State.
