New Cincinnati restaurant affords a style of Europe — no passport required

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Madisonville’s new elevated European-inspired restaurant will open its doorways to the general public on Tuesday, becoming a member of Cincinnati’s prolonged checklist of latest eateries.

After dedicating greater than 35 years learning European hospitality and main kitchens throughout the nation, Cincinnati native and restaurateur Chef Kevin Armon is able to open his personal restaurant, Concorde.

Located at 4925 Whetsel Ave., Concorde fills a 4,500-square-foot area beneath the Madamore flats on the principle strip of Madisonville.

The restaurant blends conventional French, Italian and Spanish-style dishes with trendy flavors — Coq au Vin, oysters Rockefeller and Lumache all’Amatriciana are just some signature menu objects that can transcend prospects to Europe.

Looking inside, Concorde’s inside design teeters the border of moody and ethereal with its abundance of pure gentle from an exterior wall of home windows and its darkish colours with intimate accent lighting.

Two eating rooms, a full-service high-top bar and an outside patio deliver ample seating for many celebration sizes, whether or not it’s date evening, a piece pleased hour or a gaggle outing.

“Opening Concorde is incredibly meaningful because it’s the first restaurant I’ve been able to call my own after more than 35 years in this industry,” stated Armon in a press release. “Madisonville has been home for more than 20 years, and I’ve poured my heart into every detail to create something truly special for this community. It’s incredibly rewarding to finally welcome our neighbors through the doors and share this experience with them.”

Concorde’s grand opening will likely be Tuesday, July 14 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Regular hours of operation will likely be Tuesday by Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant will likely be closed Sunday and Monday.
