Colonial-Era Fun Days, A Summer 1/2 Day Camp!

Colonial-Era Fun Days, A Summer ½ Day Camp, August 10 – 14, is for Youth ages 7-11 on the Grounds of the Beaufort Historic Site in historic downtown Beaufort. Step again in time and expertise what days have been like for youths within the 18^th and 19^th century. Docents will information campers every day from 9:00am – 12:00pm by way of all kinds of enjoyable, hands-on actions together with colonial crafts, conventional video games, historic cooking, meals preservation strategies, interval music, and extra! 

Registration Cost:

$200 for the week for kids or grandchildren of present/energetic members

$225 for non-members (Includes a 1-year Contributor Level Membership) 

Monday – Day within the lifetime of colonial youngster, making a rope mattress, human loom, and video games.

Tuesday – Open fireplace cooking/baking, butter churning, sachet making, and meals preservation.

Wednesday – Fiber Crafts, lucet fork wire cording, weaving, spinning, flax preparation, and pure dyes.

Thursday – Other crafts, music, and musical devices.

Friday – Celebration of the week’s actions with photographs and home made ice cream and Pirate Treasure hunt! Parents/Guardians are inspired to take part.
