Three ladies swimmers earn scholar all-America honors for 2025-26 season

Three Hamilton College athletes had been honored by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) with Scholar All-America recognition for the 2025-26 season on Thursday, July 2 when the group launched its listing of recipients.
 
Hamilton ladies swimmers Jade Matthias ’26 (Reading, Pa./Mercersburg Academy), Carolyn Miner ’27 (Manchester, Conn./Manchester HS) and Paige Wielgus ’28 (Pocasset, Mass./Sturgis Charter) made the primary workforce for incomes a grade level common of three.50 or higher and taking part of their nationwide championship. The Scholar All-America Team was offered by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps.
 
Matthias, Miner and Wielgus competed within the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relay within the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at IU Indianapolis’ IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Matthias, who majored in authorities, additionally raced within the 50 free, 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Miner majors in psychology and Wielgus is engaged on a twin main in geoscience and artwork.
 
Matthias was a Scholar All-American all 4 years with the Continentals. Miner collected her second honor (2025) and Wielgus picked up her first.
