Recovery Celebration and Boone and Sean Good Samaritan Memorial 5K & Fun Run | News & Updates

PITTSBORO, NC—Community members are invited to attend the Recovery Celebration and Boone and Sean Good Samaritan Memorial 5K & Fun Run, a day devoted to honoring family members misplaced to dependancy and overdose, celebrating the victories of restoration, and strengthening group assist for people and households impacted by substance use.
Hosted by Chatham Drug Free, Chatham Diversion and Advocacy Programs, Chatham County Public Health Department, and Vaya, the occasion gives a chance for the group to come back collectively in remembrance, hope, and assist.

WHERE: Bray Park, Siler City, NC: 200 Bray Park Complex Drive, Siler City, NC 27344

The Memorial 5K and Fun Run will honor these whose lives have been misplaced to dependancy and overdose, whereas the Recovery Celebration will acknowledge the power and resilience of people in restoration and join attendees with native prevention, therapy, and restoration sources.

Individuals of all ages—together with households, youngsters, and college students—are inspired to enroll in the 5K and Fun Run and take part within the day’s actions.
