Artwalk Waldoboro showcases native artwork, summer time scenes, July 24

Downtown Waldoboro will rejoice native and regional artwork, music, and neighborhood throughout Artwalk Waldoboro on Friday, July 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. Visitors are invited to discover galleries, companies, and public areas whereas strolling via Waldoboro’s historic village. 

Featured native artists embody photographer Linda Mahoney at Perch Café & Bakery, photographer Vincente Spadafora at Holmes + Hudson Collective, painters Audrey Bechler at Waldoboro Public Library and Anne Heywood at her namesake gallery, chairmaker Andy Glenn at Gravedigger’s Daughter, painter and sculptor Alanna Hernandez at The Waldoboro Inn & Ida’s Wine Bar, and anime-inspired artist McKenna Fitzpatrick at Dayboat Café. 

The Waldoboro Public Library honors longtime former Waldoboro resident Audrey Bechler, who celebrated her ninetieth birthday in March, with a particular exhibition of her paintings whereas she returns to city for the summer time.
