1. Definitions

Definitions of capitalized phrases are set forth in Appendix A.

2.  Policy Statement

The University restricts entry to its campuses by Commercial Photographers to pre-approved occasions and areas. At the path of the President, the Executive Vice President and Provost (“the Provost”) and the Office of Marketing and Communications may have authority for figuring out the method by which such approvals are obtained, in addition to any related charges.

3.  Purpose

The objective of this coverage is to guard the general public picture of the University and the privateness of its college students, college, workers, volunteers and contractors.

4.  Applicability

Appendix A: Definitions

“Commercial Photographer” refers to any individual or individuals amassing a number of photographs of an SMU campus for the aim of remuneration by a 3rd get together.
