Fire division rescues swimmer close to downtown Ketchikan

Firefighters, paramedics and several other bystanders helped pull 30-year-old Ketchikan resident Amanda Perry out of the water. Perry was transported to Ketchikan Medical Center for analysis and remedy of hypothermia, and has since been launched.

In a Facebook message to KRBD, Perry mentioned that she’s grateful to the neighborhood of Ketchikan for serving to her in a time of want.
