Swim and Dive Declares 2026-27 Meet Schedule

HOUSTON – Rice swimming and diving head coach Seth Huston has introduced the Owls’ schedule for the 2026-27 season.

“We have built a schedule that we believe will be challenging for our program and ultimately prepare us to be at our best at the American Championships and postseason championships to follow,” Huston stated.

Fresh off back-to-back American Conference championships, Rice enters the upcoming season trying to construct on its success.

Rice opens the marketing campaign with two residence meets in October, giving followers an early alternative to see the defending convention champions on the Rice Competition Pool. The Owls begin with the Rice Fall Splash on Oct. 9-10, welcoming UIW, Loyola New Orleans, St. Thomas and UTRGV for the season-opening meet. Rice stays at residence later within the month to host Arkansas on Oct. 23-24.

Rice opens November with a visit throughout city to Houston on Nov. 6 earlier than returning residence to host American Conference foe Tulane on Nov. 7 for Senior Day, marking the Owls’ closing residence competitors of the 2026 calendar yr.

The Owls then compete on the Phil Hansel Invitational, hosted by Houston, from Nov. 17-20 earlier than touring to Sarasota, Florida, to defend their title on the CSCAA Open Water Championship on Dec. 12. Rice has gained the occasion three consecutive years and can look to seize its fourth straight CSCAA Open Water championship.

Rice closes the 2026 portion of its schedule on the FAU Fun Meet in Boca Raton, Florida, on Dec. 19.

Rice then competes on the CSCAA National Invitational Championships from March 11-13 on the Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training (FAST) facility in Ocala, Florida.

The season concludes on the NCAA Championships, hosted by the University of Texas on the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas, from March 17-20.
