The Wellcome Photography Prize 2027 is now open for entries, launching a worldwide name for pictures that reveal how well being is skilled, represented and understood. Entries are invited throughout three classes:
• Striking solo pictures: A single picture that captivates individuals, stirs imaginations and begins conversations.
• A storytelling collection: A collection of three to 5 images that unpacks a story in larger depth or explores completely different views.
• The marvels of scientific and medical imaging: A single picture, taken utilizing a scientific or medical imaging approach, that captures the surprise of life sciences.

A complete of £52,000 in money prizes shall be awarded. The three class winners will every obtain £10,000, whereas the remaining finalists will every obtain £1,000. There shall be an awards ceremony for the highest 25 picture makers chosen.
The internationally recognised judging panel shall be chaired by Sumitra Upham, a curator whose observe brings collectively modern artwork, cultural programming and lived expertise, and who’s the Associate Director for Curatorial and Public Practice at Wellcome Collection.
