Valley Swim Team Phoenix – About Us

Who we’re

Valley Swim Team Phoenix (VSTP) is a year-round aggressive youth swim membership, affiliated with USA Swimming and Virginia Swimming.

We observe at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, and our swimmers come from everywhere in the area — Winchester, Frederick, Warren, Clarke, and Shenandoah counties in Virginia, and Jefferson County, West Virginia.

We’re a non-profit, run fully by a volunteer dad or mum board.

 

Our story

VSTP was based in March 2005 by a bunch of fogeys who needed a guided swim program for teenagers of each degree — from first-time swimmers to critical rivals.

Twenty years later, we have grown right into a close-knit group of round 75 swimmers, and we have taken athletes all the way in which to Regional, State, Zone, Sectional, and Junior National competitors.

Meet the coaches

Ben Marshall — Head Coach

Ben swam and performed soccer at West Virginia Wesleyan, the place he earned a level in sports activities psychology.

Elissa Ryan — Coach

Elissa swam at Rutgers University, the place she earned Junior National qualifying occasions within the 200 fly.

Ethan Coleman — Coach

Ethan swam at Shepherd University and now serves as Head Coach at Bridgewater College.

Jeremy Linaburg — Coach

Jeremy swam at Davis & Elkins College.
