Helena’s Buck Creek Festival returns with stay music, duck race and household enjoyable

HELENA, Ala. (WBRC) – Helena’s Buck Creek Festival is again at Helena Amphitheater Park on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9–10, bringing two days of stay music, a fan-favorite duck race, native distributors and kid-friendly actions.

From traditional hits to hometown expertise, the competition lineup options a number of bands throughout each nights, plus purchasing, meals and a devoted youngsters’s space so households could make a full day of it.

Friday, Oct. 9

Festivities start Friday at 6 p.m. with stay performances:

• 6 p.m. — Summer of ’77
• Followed by — OPOV Band
• Ends — 10 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 10

Saturday’s schedule begins shiny and early with music all through the day, capped by a high-energy finale.

• 10 a.m. — Hooley
• 11:45 a.m. — Helena High School Jazz Band
• 1:15 p.m. — Oxmoor
• 3 p.m. — Duck race
• 3:15 p.m. — Erin Black
• 4 p.m. — More Cowbell
• 6 p.m. — M-80’s
• Ends — 8 p.m.

The occasion is free and open to the general public.

Families can benefit from a youngsters’s space designed as a secure place for youths to play. Wristbands are $10 and embody all-day entry.

Festivalgoers can browse vendor cubicles that includes handmade gadgets, retail merchandise and all kinds of meals choices from distributors throughout the Southeast.
