Pedestrian tunnel closed
The Village of Cold Spring issued a journey advisory at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday (July 29) due to heavy rains in a single day.
The pedestrian tunnel below the Metro-North tracks is closed, as is North Street, the place Central Hudson is responding to a report of downed wires. In addition, a manhole cowl restore is underway on Main Street at Route 9D.
Avoid flooded areas and downed electrical wires all through the area. To report downed electrical wires, dial 911 or contact Central Hudson at 800-527-2714.
