EIU Males’s & Girls’s Swimming Earns Workforce Academic Achievement Award

Eastern Illinois males’s and ladies’s swimming have been awarded the Summit League Academic Achievement Award for the 2025-2026 season.  

The Summit League awards every sport based mostly on the share of list-eligible student-athletes on the Commissioner’s List.   

EIU had 17 members incomes Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence honors, with the boys’s workforce totaling eight and 9 members coming from the ladies’s workforce.

Qualifications for Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence 

• In order for a student-athlete to be chosen to the Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence, the student-athlete should carry a 3.50 or higher cumulative GPA, have used a 12 months of eligibility and accomplished three full semesters or 5 quarters on the nominating establishment. 

• Student-athletes having a 3.9 or increased cumulative profession grade-point common are designated with an asterisk to point “with distinction.”

Qualifications for Academic Honor Roll
